The Loren Eiseley Reader was a pro bono project collaboration with the Loren Eiseley Society, a nonprofit dedicated to encouraging interest in and knowledge of the noted Nebraska essayist, philosopher, anthropologist, and literary naturalist. Foreword was kindly written by Ray Bradbury (a Loren Eiseley fan). Aaron Vacin developed the “Loren Eiseley’s Nebraska” map of fossils based on previous scholarly research as well as his own, and graphic designer and artist Aaron Franco created the charcoal drawings for the opening chapter pages and the cover art. The book was produced on an offset press as a gloss-laminated hardcover with colored headbands and special endsheets.
